Meet Marissa.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I work with people who hold it together on the outside yet feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected on the inside. As an individual in long-term recovery from my own survival-based coping patterns, I know firsthand how exhausting it is to “function” without feeling free. That lived experience, paired with advanced clinical training, shapes how I work—with humility, empathy, and a deep respect for the nervous system’s role in healing.
I built my practice for people who’ve already tried therapy, learned the skills, and found some relief—but still feel pulled back into the same patterns. My work goes beyond talk therapy, using evidence-based trauma approaches like EMDR and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help heal at the root. The goal isn’t just coping better—it’s lasting change, nervous system freedom, and a life that finally feels like your own.
